Who Am I?
Hi there, I’m Orit. By day, I’m a full-time search engine optimisation expert. But when I’m off the clock, I’m busy planning my next travel destination (sounds lush, but it could simply be an affordable 1-hr trip to one of the nearest beaches outside London).
Welcome to my blog, “I Travel Therefore I am”. This is where I share the experiences from my journeys, and hopefully, help you in planning yours.
My Background
After leaving Israel five years ago, I relocated to North London. Since then, this move has introduced me to all kinds of diverse landscapes and cultures across both Britain and Europe – from its beautiful beaches to glorious castles as well as making use of our newfound proximity with Europe – I have witnessed so much and can’t wait for what else awaits me here!
Life Back Home
Although travel keeps my spirit going strong, home life keeps me grounded. My two incredible children – an 12-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl – keep me grounded; plus our pug and cat make for quite the lively household! Finding balance among work, family life and travel can be quite a task; yet one I cherish immensely!
Why This Blog?
People often ask me for travel, accommodation and food advice, so it seemed logical to document my experiences and share them with a wider audience. This blog is my way of providing useful advice, helping you navigate your own journeys whilst sharing my personal memories.

“I Travel Therefore I am” is focused on delivering practical travel, accommodation and food advice from personal experience, with a special emphasis on destinations that are kid and pet-friendly (but nothing that couples or solo travellers can’t benefit from).
